I don't believe I could be an artist on my own. Therefore my art will be of HIM, and all of creation, and all therein, lending inspiration, meaning and purpose for all works of art that He enables me to lay a hand to.

Beyond Beautiful! As I looked to Pop to help me title the painting, I described the scene as "Beyond Beautiful!" And Pop said, "That's it...Beyond Beautiful! And so the painting was named. One viewer shared the words that flowed through her thoughts as she viewed the painting, "One can stop at the gate, and reflect on what the future brings beyond, and pursue faithfully toward that time," and these meant so much to me, that I wrote the words in my notebook to treasure for my life as an artist,

The psalmist shares with us in Psalm 27:4, "One thing I have desired of the Lord, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, ro behold the beauty of the Lord." This beauty of the Lord is not a fading beauty, as the beauty of the flowers fade, but it is a lasting beauty the psalmist speaks of. One among her first watercolor paintings by The Littlest Artist -3 years old . Not available for sale.

An oil on canvas was among my first paintings in the year about 2000. With my blue and white and palette knife I created the snow capped mountains. With brush, I blended blue and white to gently sweep across the base of the mountains to create the soft mist enveloping the mountains at base. This is artist grade oils on canvas. Today it is framed and is in our granddaughter's home. The painting reminded her of the mountains in Colorado, so she has it displayed among framed travel photo prints.

My hands were used as the model for this painting of praying hands. This painting is no longer available. Psalm 119:18 Open Thou mine eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy Law. was the inspiration for the painting. The topography of Africa, desert, mountains, and grasslands with the gazelle of the antelope species, native to Africa. Along the sea coast, sand and grasslands with desert in northern Africa. The Nile River runs from the north down to the bottom of the horn of Africa. Midland are mountain ranges and below are the grasslands. A cactus plant in bloom finds its place in the desert, and the canopy tree among the grasslands.

Orange day lilies, faithfully blooming throughout the years and its seasons. A sweet woman that worked along side my husband, came and spent the day with me, and planted these plants in my yard, and they have become the gift that keeps on giving.

A little wooden heart that hung on my kitchen cupboard was the inspiration for the heart shaped crown of thorns on the old rugged cross, painted with professional artist grade acrylics on 20"h x 16"l x 5/8"w wrapped canvas.

I discovered and was fascinated by the Bird of Paradise flower growing around a lake in Florida. The flower features orange and blue-violet petals protruding from the beak-like flower that resemble the head of a tropical bird. I placed them in a tropical floral arrangement in this painting.
